National Alumni Association Life Members
MAAC increases NAA Life Membership by Three
Chapter members Tamara Lovejoy, Johnnie M. Royster, and Vickie Tellis have become life members of the Alabama State University National Alumni Association (NAA). The NAA defines a life member as - any regular member who is in accord with and agrees to adhere to the principles, policies, and objectives of the NAA by paying the life membership fee of $1,000. The distinction of having the most life members among the NAA local chapters is the Metro Atlanta Alumni Chapter with 15.
The life membership excludes the member from paying national dues for life. Since the program was first introduced in 1993, more than 100 alumni from around the United States have joined the elite group of “Life Members”. These members include:
